The rifles in my videos vary from off the shelf rifles with minor modifications to full custom builds with premier components.  As a shooter you can definitely tell a difference between the two, but if the set up is done right you can definitely get good performance out of a factory rifle.

I've found the scope is more critical in the game of long range precision rifles.  I don't care what rifle you have, if you can't see or dial in the target you won't get an impact.  Many top shooters advise to buy your scope first and build your rifle under it.

Over the past 10-20 years the technology available to civilian shooting has improved dramatically.  In my videos I will utilize a lot of those items available in the industry.  If done properly, with good data, anyone can work up a firing solution that will give you a chance to record a hit at long distances.  

Some of the state of the art equipment utilized will be reloading equipment, chronographs / radars, camera systems, weather instruments, various software / apps, and much more.

I utilize a DJI Magic 2 Zoom to film when I’m shooting down range.  This is a quadcopter style drone.
